Hey all.

A dear friend and I are having a discussion regarding the role of the text and playwright in putting on a production.  I'm curious to hear some other voices...

www.xanga.com/UpstartCrowe  is where to go if you're interested.

i will be hommme in two days...

sleeping beauty will be over in two days... (i really shouldn't complain, the dancers work much harder than we do, but it is painful)

all my college applications have been turned in for several days...

and tonight is hannukah!  yay!

seeing my friends sooon... sweet freedom sooon.... (i won't be able to wait to come back after a week, but for now it sounds lovely)

being at home on break makes me a little lost and laaazzy...

it takes me forever to do things ... i have been working on my hartt app essay all week... it's eleven o'clock and i'm wearing pajamas.

but maybe playing trivial pursuit with my family until midnight really is more important.

i think so.

i have spoken to both my roomate and robert over break ... i have friends who are family...

happy belated thanksgiving everyone.  use the break to be thankful.

Today was almost the end of my pretty little blog...

But I was looking back at old entries, and, especially in the days before I left for the Academy, I found myself smiling at what I had written (some of it.  some of it's awful).  And now I know what I'm doing again.  So once again, this thing survives...

Callbacks today.  Cast list tomorrow.  Then home for nine whole days...

That's right.  Nine days.  You should start making plans to see me.  Now.

Runthru of Sleeping Beauty tonight.  Ballet rehearsals are always interesting just in seeing the difference between a theater rehearsal and a ballet rehearsal.  For dancers, rehearsal is about repetition.  For actors, it's about experimentation.  You can feel the difference, a sort of tension in the room, between our idea of professionalism and rehearsal etiquette and their idea of it.  No one's right, no one's wrong.  Just an difference in mindset.

Love and Shalom everyone.  I must go clean...
